The Elgato Video Capture is a device to help you convert old video devices, such as VHS cassettes to digital files on your computer. This is the perfect tool to help you turn old family camcorder videos (such as miniDV or VHS-C), or old video cassettes into files that can easily be watched and shared on your computer.

Simply plug the USB end into your computer, and your camcorder/video cassette deck into the relevant connection on the other end, download the easy to use software, and away you go!

Can be used with any devices that have analogue outputs in the form of: S-Video; composite video (yellow RCA phono connector); analogue mono or stereo audio (red and/or white RCA phono connectors), or SCART (via included adaptor). The software should work with any PAL or NTSC 4:3 or 16:9 formats, and will automatically de-interlace. The files the software produces are standard definition H.264 .mp4 files.
